The Glass Bridge is the highlight of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, located in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge is the highest and longest transparent glass bridge with a length 430 meters and a width 6 meters. It is 300 meters above the ground level and it can bear 800 persons standing on it at the same time. It was paved with transparent glass, in the middle of the bridge there is a bungee jumping platform which is the highest in the world. There is no steel structure in the bridge which is made entirely of glass. It would be the first suspension glass bridge when the project finishes.

One Line Sky: In a narrow and long gorge close to the entrance gate of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is a path 700 meters long, surrounded by cliffs 300 meters high. It looks like a passageway to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. It is a nice place to experience the grandeur of steep cliffs. Looking at the sky from this narrow gorge, visitors will feel like the sky has become small. 

The Slide Way combines the functions of transportation, entertainment, sightseeing, as well as environmental protection. This slide-way is made of smooth granite, 600 meters long. By taking this slide-way from the top of mountain, visitors can enjoy wonderful scenery and save their strength after the long climb to the top.

Bungee Jump: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon will also offer the world's highest bungee jump, taking over the title from Macau Tower's 233 meters high attraction, it also has a giant swing hanging under the bridge. In the future, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is planning to become the biggest theme park of extreme games, including rock climbing, rafting, motorcycling, bungee jumping and swimming.

There is a 700-meter- long trail of steep stairs lined with the iron railing leads down the Canyon, it will be closed in winter and in some heavy raining days during summer time, so the golden time to visit this place is April, May, June, July, August, September, October and November,

★How to plan a tour to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon
It will take you about 40 minutes to Grand Canyon from Wulingyuan by bus, after arriving on the top of mountain, a 700-meter- long trail of steep stairs lined with the iron railing leads down the Canyon (about 2200 steps),halfway down, there is a 600-meter-long Sliding-Way gong down the bottom of the canyon, visitors are given a thick canvas to tie around the waist and a pair of gloves to protect the hands, you need to pay 22RMB/PAX in total, or you can also choose to hiking down. After about 1.5 hours hiking in the valley, you will be taken a boat down a river towards the exit, just 15 minutes boat riding and relax yourself.

Baofeng Lake is an artificial lake formed by blocking gorge with the dam. The lake extends along the mountain and appears as a irregular long shape. Beofeng Lake is also the only place you can enjoy water when you are in Zhangjiajie.

The Glass Skywalk in Tianmen Mountain is a relatively recently opened scenic spot in Tianmen Mountain, the skywalk is situated 4700 feet above the sea level, which is only 60 meters long and you are asked to wear shoe cover to protect the glass when you are walking on it. The glass skywalk offers breathtaking views when you are on the top of Tianmen Mountain, you will feel like walking in a fairy land when the mist is still heavy.

★ Good to know
1, As tickets to the Glass Bridge are limited, you'd better book ticket on Internet or by local travel agency, only a maximum of 800 persons are allowed on the bridge at one time.
2, Except for small size bags(wallet,waist pack,handbag)and cellphone with special cover,other items are not allowed to be brought onto the bridge.
3, Don't run around or jump or litter everywhere on glass bridge,if you bring your children,take good care of them at any time to ensure their safety.
4, Under the snowing or raining circumstance,please walk along the white glass panel on each side of the bridge.Do not run or chase on the transparent glass panel in case of accidental slip.
