Day 1     Zhangjiajie

There are no planned activities for today except for a welcome meeting in the evening. Be transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Day 2    Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ( B + D )

Take a exhilarating drive to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park,explore Yellow Stone Village, visit Yellow Stone Village, It lies to the west of Zhangjiajie Forest Park with an altitude of 1200m and covers an area of 250mu. You can enjoy the Six Stranges Pagoda, Picking Star Platform, Five Finger Peak, Lover peaks and so on when you are on the top of mountain.

Go to Golden Whip Stream for a pleasant stroll along the stream, surrounded by grotesque rocks,this place is well-known for its crystal water and fresh air. You might see some monkeys there. Please don’t touch or scare them for safety reasons,The stream is limpid through the year, with many scenic spots along the way. It is well-known for Jinbian Rock-which has a height of 382km and looks like a huge flying eagle. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.  ( Note:Please put your plastic bags into backpack in case that money will attack you when youl are hiking in Golden Whip Stream)

Enjoy The Western Hunan Charming Show in the evening,the performance includes the typical local folk customs, such as “wedding lament”, “corpse driving”, witchcrafts, climbing the knife mountain, crossing the fireplace, as well as the modern songs and acrobatics, fully displaying the customs and lifestyle of the ethnic minority groups in West Hunan and reflecting the original culture of West Hunan.(Note:The show performs 2 times in peak season, the earlier you book tickets, the better seat it will be, we will book the VIP tickets for you in advance)

Day 3    Wulingyuan Scenic Area ( B + L )

Take Bailong Elevator up Yuanjiajie, Bailong Elevator is said to be the worlds tallest full-exposure outdoor lift, tallest double-deck sightseeing elevator. 6 minutes bus riding to arrive in Yuanjiajie,Yuanjiajie is the inspiration for Hallelujah Mountain in AVATAR , Where you will also find the aptly named First Bridge under Heaven, Lover Peaks and so on. (Note:There are 3 elevators, you'd better go inside near to the window if you want to enjoy the scenery when you are riding the elevator down mountain. It will be very crowded to take Bailong Elevator on peak season, such as July, August and some Chinese holidays)

Lunch: Yuanjiajie Restaurant

Transfer to Tianzi Mountain, Tianzi Mountain is a mesa in the northwest of Wulingyuan. Up on the mesa, the field of vision is widely opened up and it is a perfect location to have a panoramic view of the nature reserve, boasts rocky peaks in grotesque shapes and shrouded in drifting mist,Tianzi Mountain is one of the must see scenic spots when you are in Zhangjiajie,Your guide will take you to visit Helong Park, The West Sea，Emperor’s Writing Brushes Peak and so on. Ride Tianzi Cablecar down and check in hotel.

Day 4    Baofeng Lake & Tujia Folk Garden ( B + L )

After breaking in the hotel, we head to Baofeng Lake where is the masterpiece of nature and human beings’wisdom. Baofeng Lake is pure just like a big crystal among Bao feng mountain Range.When you cruise, you can hear authentic song from Tujia minority people,you can fully understand the harmony and peace between human beings and nature. (Note:There are 2 ways to reach the top of lake: Hiking up or take tourism bus, you need to pay extra 25RMB if you want to take the bus up)

Lunch: Local Mushroom

A short driving to Tujia Folk Garden in the afternoon,Tujia Folk Garden is a masterpiece of nature and manmade. In the park,the famous buildings are Tusi Town, Baoshou or Wave Hand Hall and Tujia Village. Chongtian Tower, which is 48 meters high, has 12 stories with special design. The park shows Tujia customs, special stone, root carving, precious relics and old Tujia folk performance, such as Maogusi Dance and Copper Bells Dance

Transfer to Fenghuang Ancient City, about 4 hours riding.

Day 5     Fenghuang Ancient City ( B + D )

You will be in Fenghuang Ancient City for a whole day, enjoy a leisure visiting to the famous “9 scenic places of Fenghuang Ancient City”such as Former Residence of Shen Congwen, Yang Ancestral Memorial, Ancient East Gate, Tuojiang River, Hongqiao Bridge, ect.(Note:Most time you can bargain when you are buying some local things in Fenghuang, please remember to take care of your bags when you are walking along the street.)

Day 6     Dehang Miao Village & Furong Town ( B + L )

It takes 2 hours from Fenghuang Ancient City to Dehang Miao Village, Dehang means a "beautiful valley" in Miao language,In the scenic spot, streams are crossing to each other deep valleys, spectacular waterfalls, grand mountain ranges, ancient trees and special flowers, precious birds and animals are everywhere.you will have a better understanding to the Miao nationally after visiting this village. whats more, you will pass Aizhai Marvelous Bridge on the way of Dehang Miao Village.

Lunch: Hengyuanxiang Restaurant

Visit Furong town, this town ,named because of a famous movie, is located between Zhangjiajie and Phoenix ancient city,There are a lot of to see and do in Furong Town, originally named Wangcun,is a home of Tujia and Miao minorities in the west Hunan. Furong Town has a history of more than 2,000 years, and it an ancient town where people of the Tujia and Miao ethnic people live together.Until now, in the town, pavement laid with black flagstones and ancient domestic house (mainly Diaojiaolou) are well preserved. (Note:There is a big waterfall in the center of Furong Town, you can have a walking under it and pass it. The typical local snack is rice tofu)

Back to Zhangjiajie and see you off in the airport.
