Day 1    Zhangjiajie

Arrive in Zhangjiajie, be met and transferred to hotel by a private air-conditioned car. The rest of the day will be free for you to recover from the jet lag or explore the city by yourself.

Day 2    Tianmen Mountain ( B + D )

In the morning, have a leisure breakfast in the hotel, then check out from hotel and depart for Tianmen Mountain.Take the longest cablecar(about 7.5 kilometes long) in the world up Tianmen Mountain,have a walking on the mountain plank road built along the face of cliffs. You will feel like walking in a fairy land when the mist is still heavy. The world marvelous scene on Tianmen Mountain is called Tianmen Cave, means a door to the heaven in Chinese,well-known for being glided through by a world-class stuntman in a wing suit.Take cablecar down and be transfer to Wulingyuan Downtown, about 40 minutes riding.(Note:There are two lines you can visit Tianmen Mountain, A line, traveling up to the mountain peak by cablecar and by car down; B line, traveling up to the mountain peak by car and by cablecar down, in the peak season, you'd better book tickets in advance and choose A line.)

Day 3     Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ( B + D )

A short driving to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, pay a visit to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ,ride cablecar up Yellow Stone Village, your guide will take you to enjoy Six Wonders Pagoda, Pick-up Star Platform, Five Fingers Peak and so on.

Head to Golden Whip Stream, located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Golden Whip Stream covers a distance of 7.5 km from north to south, winding across mountains and valleys. The stream is limpid through the year, with many scenic spots along the way, the most popular scenic spots along the stream are : Golden Whip Rock, Puccoon Pool, Camel Peak.( Note: Please put your plastic bags into backpack in case that money will attack you when youl are hiking in Golden Whip Stream)

Day 4    Wulingyuan Scenic Area ( B + L )

Take Bailong Elevator up Yuanjiajie, Bailong Elevator is said to be the worlds tallest full-exposure outdoor lift, tallest double-deck sightseeing elevator. 6 minutes bus riding to arrive in Yuanjiajie,Yuanjiajie is the inspiration for Hallelujah Mountain in AVATAR , Where you will also find the aptly named First Bridge under Heaven, Lover Peaks and so on. (Note:There are 3 elevators, you'd better go inside near to the window if you want to enjoy the scenery when you are riding the elevator down mountain. It will be very crowded to take Bailong Elevator on peak season, such as July, August and some Chinese holidays)

Lunch: Yuanjiajie Restaurant

Head to Tianzi Mountain, Tianzi Mountain is a mesa in the northwest of Wulingyuan. Up on the mesa, the field of vision is widely opened up and it is a perfect location to have a panoramic view of the nature reserve, boasts rocky peaks in grotesque shapes and shrouded in drifting mist,Tianzi Mountain is one of the must see scenic spots when you are in Zhangjiajie,Your guide will take you to visit Helong Park, The West Sea，Emperor’s Writing Brushes Peak and so on.

Day 5    Tujia Folk Garden & Furong Town ( B + L )

After breakfast, visit Tujia Folk Garden,with woodcarving on the windows, Flying Eaves and colorful wall, Tujia Folk Garden is a masterpiece of nature and manmade. In the park,the famous buildings are Tusi Town, Baoshou or Wave Hand Hall and Tujia Village. Chongtian Tower, which is 48 meters high, has 12 stories with special design. The park shows Tujia customs, special stone, root carving, precious relics and old Tujia folk performance, such as Maogusi Dance and Copper Bells Dance.

Lunch: Hengyuanxiang Restaurant in Furong Town

Drive about 2 hours from Zhangjiajie to Furong Town,There are a lot of to see and do in Furong Town, originally named Wangcun,is a home of Tujia and Miao minorities in the west Hunan. Furong Town has a history of more than 2,000 years, and it an ancient town where people of the Tujia and Miao ethnic people live together.Until now, in the town, pavement laid with black flagstones and ancient domestic house (mainly Diaojiaolou) are well preserved.(Note:There is a big waterfall in the center of Furong Town, you can have a walking under it and pass it. The typical local snack is rice tofu)
